Challenge
The challenge of this project was to install holistic, automated heating control across the whole building.
The hostel provides accommodation options over an area of approx. 1500m2, including 39 rooms, common areas and technical facilities.

Solution
The building is heated by radiators. We installed 75 Loxone Air Valve Actuators on all radiators required. Communication is ensured using 6 Loxone Air Base Extension (3 units on each floor). The entire operation is coordinated by the Loxone Miniserver.
Everything can be controlled by the reception staff - we illustrated the project in a clear interface for them, where the staff can simply click on a single piece of information and instantly see whether the room is occupied or free. Automation takes care of everything else.

We decided on Loxone based on previous positive experiences.<br /><br /> Also, the excellent balance between price and performance was a decisive factor for the investor.
