Challenge
After moving in, the residents of the family house could set the temperature in the entire house on one classic thermostat in the hall. It soon became clear that such a solution could not ensure real thermal comfort in living rooms. Adapting the internal temperature to changes in conditions and the daily regime was downright complicated and demanding.
Solution
And so an easier solution had to come. Latron Automation took care of it. She used Loxone Air wireless technology and it was done practically in 1 day. Loxone Partner integrated into the automation system an electric boiler that directly heats domestic hot water (DHW) and 9 radiators equipped with Air Heads. Loxone also controls the lighting of the kitchen unit.
The lighting of the kitchen line was initially unadjustable, controlled from a place out of reach of the line. With Loxone, a new lighting experience has been achieved, including dimming and independent control. Preset modes work with different combinations and lighting intensity of the LED strips on the kitchen counter - a night mode is also set. In the future, the house has the potential to expand the smart system, for example by controlling the entrance gate, outdoor blinds, security and monitoring of the PV system.
