Challenge
This 300m² urban villa was built in 2025 and combines modern architecture with the highest standards of comfort and energy efficiency. For building functions such as lighting, heating, shading, access control, and audio, a flexible and zone-controlled solution was required – without compromising on design, security, or ease of use.
Solution
Thanks to the flexibility of Loxone Config, the entire building could be programmed so that all functions – from lighting, heating, cooling, and shading to access control and audio – are intelligently networked and centrally controlled. At the same time, individual areas such as guest rooms, offices, and living zones were individually configured, ensuring that comfort and energy efficiency are optimally tailored to their respective uses.
In addition, a photovoltaic system with a Solplanet inverter and battery storage was integrated. The visualization in the Loxone app offers complete transparency: energy consumption, self-generated power, and grid feed-in are visible at a glance at all times. The Hörmann sectional garage doors were also integrated into the system and can be conveniently controlled via the app or automatically.

The decision was made in favor of Loxone because the client was looking for a future-proof, scalable and intuitively operable system that meets both technical and design requirements – ideal for sophisticated urban villas with multiple users.
