Smart winery and guesthouse

The U Harmáčků winery and guesthouse in the Czech town of Hustopeče provides clear proof that the Loxone Miniserver opens many doors.

Among other things, Loxone helps with cooling or during the important fermentation process. The owner has a constant overview of the guest house from a distance, which saves him a lot of time and work.

In several rooms, Loxone provides an intelligent lighting, audio and indoor climate solution, as well as automatic shading for maximum comfort of visitors. When guests are absent, the system turns off the lights and when the window is open, the floor heating is automatically turned off. The circulation pump also turns off after a certain time - saving electricity and energy for unnecessary water heating.



The NFC Code Touch is located directly in front of the main entrance to the guest house. As soon as the guest enters his/her assigned code, the owner receives a notification that he/she has checked in safely. Unattended access thus increases convenience and saves time for the owner and guests, who are not bound to an exact arrival time.



Loxone also supports in wine production. The temperature in the cold room where the wine barrels are stored can be switched on remotely as well as adjusted. In addition, the extractor hood is controlled automatically and the outside air intake is also networked with the Miniserver. This switches on during room air exchange when the outside temperature falls below a certain value. The ventilation unit also exchanges the very humid air in the wine cellar if necessary.
