Smart Lounge Automation

The client desired a highly flexible and atmospheric ambiance that could be perfectly adapted to any situation at any time through individual lighting scenes. At the same time, ventilation, air conditioning, and heating were to be fully automated – a particularly important point, as consistently good air exchange is essential in a shisha bar.

Manual intervention was to be eliminated throughout the entire building, especially in high-traffic areas. This required a consistently intelligent system that reacts reliably and autonomously and seamlessly integrates all building services.

In addition, the audio control had to be extremely flexible: from background music and zone-based sound reinforcement to professional connections for live music and DJ mixers. The challenge was to combine all these requirements in a central, intuitive, and robust smart solution.

The implementation is based on a central visualization system via the LOXONE Miniserver, which intelligently networks all building systems and controls them fully automatically. For precise and efficient climate control, the heating system is divided into multiple zones and equipped with zone-based actuators. This allows each area of the lounge to be individually and precisely temperature-controlled.

The particularly important air quality in the shisha bar is ensured by the ventilation system connected via Modbus TCP. This allows for precise control, monitoring, and dynamic adjustment of the ventilation to the current occupancy.

A LOXONE Audioserver, in combination with several Stereo Extensions, is used for flexible audio control. This allows different areas to be supplied with sound separately.

All lighting is implemented using RGBW, Relay, and Dimmer Extensions. This allows for the automation of individual lighting scenes, dynamic color changes, and atmospheric accents precisely according to customer specifications, and these settings can be recalled at any time.
