Challenge
The family house under Zobor is located in the village of Nitrianske Hrnčiarovce. A house with the latest technologies, modern design and innovations. That was the goal that faced the investor when he decided to build. This is already his second house, so at the beginning of the construction he knew exactly what and how he wanted and needed to deal with it. Thanks to this, the design of individual technology solutions and the subsequent selection were very quick and straightforward. Well, the entire construction and installation of the systems was carried out in this spirit.
Solution
The owners wanted to live a life of simplicity where they could control multiple functions of the house from one place, which is why the Loxone platform was chosen. The Loxone system is constantly evolving to provide users with the highest level of experience.
Touch Pure Tree touch wall buttons in a luxurious glass design were distributed throughout the house for ease of use. Together with the iPad in the living room, the Touch Surface button in the kitchen and the Loxone remote controls, they keep the user experience consistent and convenient. And at the same time, they fit seamlessly into the modern look of the home. Touch buttons can control everything from lighting, shading to heating, and homeowners can create different scenes for entertainment or relaxation.
The larger part of the interior of the family house is lit by means of an LED backlit stretch ceiling, and thanks to this, it is possible to adjust the lighting intensity in each room to the current requirements and situations. The night regime in this household takes on a completely different dimension. When visiting the toilet at night or getting up early in the morning, the lighting intensity is adjusted so that it is not intrusive, but at the same time there is enough light for everything needed.
The modern house style also includes various glass walls, and with the hot sun during the summer months, homeowners needed to find a way to keep their home cool while keeping in mind the economical operation of the household. The first step to maintaining sustainability with glass walls was the installation of triple-glazed windows. Then, by adding Loxone shading and lighting controls, this energy-efficient home can operate on an automated schedule that maximizes natural light. Homeowners can dim the lights, pull down the blinds to their liking, or program them to open or close depending on the time of day. Blinds reduce energy use by blocking heat from the sun during the summer months, so there is no need to use energy to cool the home. And during the winter season, the shading automation can make sure that even the "toothy" winter sun helps the heating.
The chapter itself is the installation of a Loxone intercom on the entrance barrier of a family house, which gives the owners maximum freedom. Whether they expect a courier to arrive or are surprised by an unexpected visitor, thanks to the intercom they are always reachable.

"When choosing smart home technology, Loxone was the number 1 choice for us. After 1.5 years of use, we have confirmed many times that we made the right choice. Loxone has made our home care a lot easier, the unique design of the controls has helped us keep clean lines in our modern designed home. In the same way, the operation of the application immediately fell on our eyes and fingers, thanks to its intuitiveness, we got used to it practically immediately."
