Sightseeing route of the castle

In its baroque basement, the Slavkovský castle hides an exhibition called the Right of Suffering in the Slavkovsk region. The exhibition presents stories of torture, punishment and cruel practices in the region from medieval justice through to modern day. Loxone was required to provide dimmable lighting in each room that could be individually controlled, illumination of information boards, switching of the video projection during the tour and its connection with the audio.

The exhibitions authenticity is great, with the combination of knowledge and the environment of the castle basement making for a nice tour. The quality of these tours is underpinned and made possible by the implementation of the Loxone system. For example, the triggering of different sounds and background music is key for the tour and is powered by Loxone's smart logic which allows for the creation of audio zones, in this case 6 were needed. With guides also being empowered to be able to control the rooms different scenes in response to the progress of the tour routes via a remote control. The lead guide for that tour is responsible for the atmosphere and experience the tour provides but they have less worries and responsibilities as the technology will just work and be managed automatically around them.
