Energy self-sufficient smart home
- Country AT, Wolfsegg/Hausruck
- Build year 2020
- Area 230 m²
- LOXONE partner C.B.I. - Consulting GmbH

Challenge
The aim was to generate all the energy required for the building on site and to keep operating costs as low as possible
Solution
By combining several energy and heating systems and a complex control system with Loxone, the power supply was secured at 99% and a level of self-sufficiency of ~98% in electrical energy was achieved. By combining CHP, solar thermal energy, PV and storage, the energy in the building is used optimally and operating costs are reduced to a minimum.
With Loxone, getting started with automation technology was easy and even the most complex requirements could be implemented easily and cost-effectively.

Only with an integrated control system can all of the building's energy-relevant systems be effectively combined and energy losses avoided.
