Challenge
Modernize solar tracker control system with old PLC using a Miniserver, improving system visualization and remote management.
Solution
By installing a Miniserver for each tracker, the azimuth and elevation positions are controlled. Its analog inputs are used as position inputs, and the digital outputs are used to interact with the contactors and variable speed drives to position the tracker.
The Miniserver meets all expectations. The "sun position" signal inputs are used to correctly position the tracker relative to the sun.
