The client approached Keysoft Solutions with the desire to equip their newly built home with a smart home system & associated network. The goal was to automate their home while leaving room for future expansions. However, the budget was limited, which posed a challenge. The client wanted all the basic functionalities for a smart home integrated, with the possibility to add additional devices and functionalities in the future without major adjustments or high costs. The client also attached great importance to cyber security and potential access to the network by unauthorized persons.

After a detailed analysis of the requirements and budget, Keysoft Solutions proposed a step-by-step approach, in which the basic functionality was realized first, with possibilities for expansion in the future. The solution consisted of the following components:

- Future-oriented functionalities: Camera surveillance, access control & intercom, energy management, climate & cold room control, charging stations based on PV surplus.

The basic functionalities were installed and worked perfectly, while the system was open to future expansions. The customer can now, when the budget allows, integrate new smart home devices without much extra cost or hassle. The solution was both cost-efficient and future-proof.
