Challenge

Refurbishment As part of the testing of innovative model projects for future building subsidies from the KfW, a single-family house was expanded by additional units and raised to the KfW40 EE standard. The aim was to use only renewable energies to make the energy requirement as low as possible and as optimal as possible.

Solution

In addition to the gutting and complete renovation of the property, the house was equipped with the Loxone Tree. All switches, fans and lights are now controlled via the Mini Server. The rainwater cistern is monitored by Loxone and the service water is fed in. A DMX bus controls the lighting. A Lambda heat pump, a water-bearing pellet stove and a 26kWp PV system are optimally controlled by Loxone, so that hot water and underfloor heating (control via Loxone) supply the house with energy 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and with the LEAF Ait fans the room climate is optimally automatic is controlled. Since January 1st, 2023 there has been a car sharing parking space that houses an electric car and this will be integrated into the energy management in the future.

Here, too, it was shown that I was able to implement all of the customer's requirements easily and cost-effectively with Loxone. I love playing with the countless possibilities of Loxone and designing solutions for practical everyday use.
