Rehabilitation of the Old Town

The goal of this project was to transform a house in the old town of Pamplona-Iruña into a smart, efficient, and secure home, integrating lighting, underfloor heating, ventilation, air quality, energy consumption, shading, as well as security and access control into a single Loxone system. The goal was to improve occupants' daily comfort, optimize energy use, and ensure a modern and connected living experience without losing the charm of a historic apartment.

🏡 Smart renovation in the heart of Pamplona-Iruña



In the heart of Pamplona-Iruña's old town, we completed a complete renovation of a home, equipping it with the latest automation technology using Loxone. The result: an efficient, comfortable, and secure home that adapts to the needs of its residents at all times.



✨ Personalized lighting



The home combines 24V LED strips, programmable sockets, and conventional 230V luminaires, all managed by the Loxone system. This allows for the creation of lighting scenes tailored to each situation: from a cozy reading environment to more active and functional lighting for everyday use.



🎶 Integrated audio in the home



Thanks to the addition of a Stereo Extension, the home has been equipped with a fully integrated audio system, with strategically placed speakers. This allows residents to enjoy music or system notifications in any room, creating an immersive and connected experience.



🌡️ Intelligent Thermal Comfort



The underfloor heating, powered by a separate gas boiler, is fully automatically controlled, always ensuring the ideal temperature in each room and optimizing energy consumption.



🌬️ Ventilation and Air Quality



The home incorporates a Zhender ventilation system, regulated by a 0–10V signal, which ensures constant air renewal. In addition, a MICA PLUS system has been integrated, which monitors key parameters such as CO₂, VOCs, particulate matter, and formaldehyde in real time, ensuring optimal and healthy indoor air quality.



📊 Energy Monitoring



Thanks to the installed energy meter, the owners can view the home's electricity consumption in detail, promoting a more efficient and conscious use of resources.



🌞 Efficient Shading



The slatted blinds are integrated into the Loxone system, allowing automatic control based on the time of day, sunlight, or the need for privacy. This achieves greater thermal comfort and energy savings.



🔐 Security and Smart Access



Security has been a key pillar of the project. A complete alarm system has been integrated, along with an automatic, smart entrance door equipped with intrusion sensors.

Furthermore, thanks to the portal's integration into the Loxone system, residents can open the building's door directly from the app, improving convenience without sacrificing security.
