Qek Junior Sauna

We – maxdelta GmbH – wanted to develop an exhibition stand where we could present the possibilities of Loxone automation in a small space to those interested in smart homes in a clear and memorable way.

On a weekend property, we came across a 50-year-old Qek Junior – an old GDR caravan in a deep slumber. It was completely gutted, restored, and partially rebuilt. However, presenting the trailer in its original condition seemed too boring to us and, due to its small size, not representative enough.



This gave rise to the idea of putting something extraordinary on wheels – something that does not yet exist in this form: a functional, smart-controlled sauna in the Qek Junior.

To ensure that the overall project would leave a sophisticated and technically flawless impression, we were able to engage the services of FINSTERBUSCH – Wellness Factory GmbH from Chemnitz – a professional sauna builder who contributed significantly to the success of the project.



After countless hours of carpentry and sauna work, we were finally able to begin automating our trailer.
