Challenge
The project included irrigation and pool maintenance systems, but without any intelligent control or adaptation to real conditions.
Both systems typically ran on fixed schedules, leading to inefficient water usage and unnecessary operation, especially during changing weather conditions and seasonal variations.

Solution
An optimized approach was proposed and implemented using the LOXONE system.
The irrigation system was connected to the weather station, allowing it to respond to outdoor temperature, rain forecasts, and precipitation. This prevents unnecessary watering and adjusts operation based on actual conditions.
For the swimming pool, cleaning cycles were configured based on the time of year and outdoor temperature. During periods of higher usage, the system runs more frequently, while during lower usage periods, it is automatically reduced.
This approach improves efficiency and reduces unnecessary resource consumption without requiring manual control.
