Prefabricated house with Loxone

The client bought a prefabricated house with a standard electrical installation, but wanted to transform it into a smart home. Thanks to the collaboration with Smart und Gut, the electrical installation was modified and both the house and the residents now benefit from Loxone's intelligent home and building automation.

A particular focus in this project was on the intelligent control of lighting, shading, heating, the access system and efficient energy management.



Presence detectors in the house ensure that the lighting is activated exactly where someone is currently present. Using the Loxone app, residents can add further lighting scenes at any time to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. The lighting mood in the entire room can be changed with just one click on the Touch Pure.



The automatic shading system in the house works fully automatically and ensures not only sun protection and maximum energy efficiency but also the necessary privacy. The shading system adjusts to the position of the sun, ensuring that the rooms do not overheat in summer. In winter, on the other hand, the natural heat is used for heating.



The PV system was also integrated into Loxone and the two electric cars are charged with the surplus energy generated. There are also plans to add a battery storage unit to the system and integrate the heat pump.
