Pilsner at the Old Town Hall

The historic village of Lauby, once a center of Ostrava, witnessed the emergence of the “Nové Lauby” project after the demolition of the old buildings in the 1960s, which was approved in the summer. It includes more than 50 stylish apartments and a restaurant in the Plzeňka franchise, reminiscent of the once popular “Hostinec u Stará radnice”.

The modern restaurant design exudes beer culture, with tiles in a barrel and vat design and a bar made of hand-blown glass. Beer containers are uncharacteristically placed on the ceiling. A control system was chosen for the sophisticated ambience, which was implemented based on the investor's positive experience with Loxone.

The comfort and smooth operation of the guest house are significantly supported by the Loxone system. The sound system uses Loxone's innovative master/client technology, which ensures simple cabling and stable signal transmission. In collaboration with sound system specialist Quadral, 20 built-in loudspeakers were installed to provide a first-class music performance and create a pleasant atmosphere for guests. The restaurant's lighting is also controlled by Loxone and automatically adapts to the time of day and the occupancy of the restaurant. Pendant luminaires in typical green, spotlights and LED strips provide atmospheric lighting conditions. If manual adjustment is required, staff can do this easily via a central control tablet with the Loxone app. The heating is also managed by Loxone so that guests always enjoy optimum comfort.

In addition, the Loxone system was connected to the Jablotron security system to ensure security in the hotel.
