Staff house Hotel Tyrol

Staff house Hotel Tyrol

Challenge

In the beautiful Haldensee in Tyrol, the Hotel Tyrol is constructing its own building with three apartments and 25 micro-apartments for its staff. Apart from the magnificent mountain panorama, each living unit is equipped with a kitchen including a dining area, a bedroom and a bathroom.

Solution

Each room or apartment in the staff house was equipped with its own Miniserver. There is also another Miniserver in the building for central control.

As the central brain, the Miniserver controls lighting and shading in every residential unit and is also responsible for intelligent heating and energy management. In this way, the power consumption can be monitored individually for each unit.

All bathrooms were equipped with a Loxone Touch, which records temperature and humidity. Depending on this, the ventilation is intelligently controlled in order to avoid mold growth. An external, simple button was also used in the bathroom to activate the heated towel rail for 30 minutes. In this way, energy can be used in a targeted manner in an uncomplicated and automated manner. If the energy is exhausted, this function is automatically blocked.

Since there are no windows in the bathrooms, another solution had to be found to prevent mold from forming. With the touch, temperature and humidity monitoring can be ideally implemented and the ventilation reacts intelligently.
