Bundesliga professional and ex-national player Patrick Herrmann wanted to build his own home. Since he is very tech-savvy, a smart home was very important to him from the start. He came across Loxone through classic internet research and was immediately convinced.

After a stressful day of training, as a professional athlete, you’re grateful for every move you don't have to make. Thanks to the Presence Sensors in conjunction with lighting, shading and audio, the Bundesliga professional no longer has to worry about manual operation: the house welcomes him with the right lighting, his favorite music and the desired temperature set in every room.



Lighting in particular is a key factor in Patrick Herrmann's home. To achieve an outstanding feel-good atmosphere through the right lighting, different lamps were integrated through the open interfaces of Loxone and the DALI Extension.



Intelligent energy management is also controlled by Loxone. For example, the self-generated electricity from the PV system is used to charge the electric car with surplus energy in the most efficient way.
