BioFish Farming Automation

The challenge of fully automating an organic fish farm, with the requirement of cost efficiency and eco-efficiency, was very challenging. The focus was clearly on ecology 24/7 - 365 days a year. This was also formulated as the top priority in connection with cost efficiency. The monitoring, control and regulation components for optimal operation were therefore quickly defined.

For implementation, the creative, sustainable solution was installed using Loxone, in combination with industrial measurement technology that has been tried and tested for the harsh conditions at 950 m above sea level. This required precise ultrasonic flow measurement technology, radar measurement technology, an exact, continuous water analysis - PH, the REDOX measurement technology, the measured, dissolved oxygen and the regulation of the temperature and lighting.

All control and regulation technology was taken over by Loxone technology. Even complicated automation tasks such as a fully automatic computer control that ensures the entire water supply for the fish farm are now implemented 100% with Loxone (DI, DO, AI). All recorded measurement values are processed, visualized and used for continuous monitoring by Loxone and immediately sent to the operators via push notifications in order to keep response times as short as possible.
