Orange Shops

The customer Orange Communications Luxembourg S.A. wanted to change the access in the shops for back office and warehouse. The challenge was to choose a system that was future-proof and expandable in all directions.

2022: Minservers (Gen. 2, Go, Compact) were installed in all shops. All internal doors were equipped with NFC Code Touchs. In connection with this work, existing timers were also removed and the lighting was controlled via the miniserver.

2023: During the energy crisis, attention was drawn to electricity consumption. The existing DI inputs made it easy to visualize consumption via S0 meters. Here, fundamental changes to operations in the shops were decided through monitoring.

2024: By changing the programming, it was possible to implement employee time recording via NFC Code Touch. In this context, a Miniserver Go with NFC Code Touch Air was installed at headquarters as a trust manager. The HR department can now easily add new employees and read in the associated NFC's via the app.

The visualization also shows, for example, the meter readings of all shops.
