Challenge

For an art exhibition by the painter Ole Ohlendorff, "Rock Heads – Dead & Alive," at the Marstall in Winsen, a concept was developed that would provide visitors with background information and a sense of atmosphere for the paintings. The paintings in question would be visually highlighted, while the others would fade into the background. The exhibition, planned for a week, was to run completely automatically.

Solution

A LOXONE Miniserver controls the daily schedule down to the second. The audio files are played by an audio server and transmitted via SPDIF to an external power amplifier. A total of 50 LED spotlights are controlled via the DMX Extension. The biggest challenge was to automate the more than 50 events for controlling the lighting and sound, while still allowing manual intervention.

LOXONE Config, while naturally optimized for completely different tasks, still allows for the control of complex scenic sequences. The logic modules are ideal for creating event-dependent connections. The easily customizable visualization is also perfectly suited for any type of special solution.
