Our project relies on intelligent automation with Loxone to precisely measure and manage the energy consumption of four companies within a building. By integration panel ovens, a heat pump and a ventilation system, the system not only ensures efficient heating control, but also maximum safety and comfort. Thanks to Loxone, the control is fully automated, resulting in energy savings and optimized operations.

In our project, we used Loxone for comprehensive building automation. The Loxone software was already available, but was placed before the energy meter. We therefore converted an M-Bus meter to Modbus and read it out via the Miniserver. In addition, a burglar alarm system with presence detectors was implemented to increase security in the building. Over time, the need for intelligent heating and ventilation control arose. This is where the Smart Socket Air came into play, which manages the entire surface heating system. The heat pump is controlled via the AC-Control Air, while the ventilation system is controlled via Modbus IP. The result is an energy-efficient and cost-saving system that perfectly combines comfort, safety and optimized energy use.
