When designing a modern single-family home, the challenge was to combine multiple functions into a single, coherent ecosystem. The investor's requirements concerned not only comfort of use, but also security and home automation.

Key challenges:

Integration of various systems – lighting, roller blinds, alarm system, access control, intercom, audio, controlled water detection and fire protection system had to be available within a single platform.
Safety and risk – the need for an immediate response to threats (fire, flooding, burglary), with full user control.
Extension of service – the investor requires the use of home management functions, both locally and remotely, using a single application.
Scalability and future – a system equipped with a function that allows for subsequent expansion with additional functions without the need to rebuild the installation.

In response to these challenges, it was decided to implement the Loxone smart system, which, thanks to its scalable and built-in architecture, allows for full management of home functions.

The solution includes:
Centralised lighting and roller blind control – automation of lighting and shading scenes depending on the time of day, the presence of household members and operating conditions.
Alarm system and access control – full protection of the property thanks to the use of motion sensors, reed switches and smart locks, as well as remote access management. A garage door power supply was also installed, which is triggered by the alarm device.
Intercom and communication – two-way audio-video communication and remote opening of the gate and entrance gate from a mobile application.
Audio on the Audioserver device – sound system in a selected area of the house with integration with other electrical functions (e.g. information about window openings when arming the alarm).
Protection against hazards – a water monitoring centre with an automatic shut-off valve connected to the main security system and a fire protection system for complete safety control.
One app – full control – all functions available in the Loxone app, providing service support for users of all ages.
The result is a consistent, accessible and future-proof system that combines comfort, security and power in one smart ecosystem.
