For an exclusive residential project in Mallorca, a solution was sought that went far beyond conventional building technology. The goal was to offer residents the highest levels of comfort, energy efficiency, and user-friendliness. At the same time, the technology had to meet the high standards of modern holiday properties and grow with the owners' needs over the long term.
A particular challenge arose from the fact that the project was originally planned with a different automation system. As the project progressed, the desire emerged to integrate all functions, such as climate control, shading, lighting, and security, into a single, centralized solution. This required considering both demanding technical requirements and the expectations of an international and tech-savvy target group.

Solution
With LOXONE, a holistic building automation system was implemented, uniting all essential functions of the house in a single system. Lighting, shading, climate control, security, and video intercom work seamlessly together and can be intuitively controlled via the LOXONE app.
Particular emphasis was placed on indoor climate and energy efficiency. Residents can pre-heat their property to their desired temperature before arrival and benefit from automatic shading that reduces heat buildup in the rooms. This not only increases living comfort but also the building's energy efficiency.
