Luxury Villa Automation

This was a complete system refit for an occupied luxury villa. The existing automation had to be analysed and fully replaced with a new solution — all while the clients continued living in the home throughout the works. The brief was demanding: deliver a system that is genuinely easy to use day-to-day, yet powerful enough to bring a wide range of separate building systems together under one roof.

Using LOXONE as the central platform, we integrated the villa's many systems into one cohesive, intuitive setup. Lighting is controlled across DALI, 0-10V, phase dimming and DMX colour fixtures. We added motorised internal shading and an outdoor awning, full HVAC control over VRF and underfloor heating, an integrated fireplace, and a multiroom audio system. Security and convenience features include an intercom system, gate, garage and door control, window and door monitoring, presence detection, water leak detection and water reservoir monitoring. Despite the breadth of integrated technology, the client operates everything through one simple, unified interface.
