Challenge

During the renovation of this luxury villa, we were challenged to make the property completely smart and future-proof. The client had specific wishes in various areas:



- Energy efficiency as a top priority



An extensive audio system that extends from basement to attic:

- Audio in every room

- Possibility to play audio throughout the house

- TV installations in all living areas



Advanced lighting solutions:

- RGBW spots and LED strips in all rooms

- Integrated LED strips in hallway walls

- Motion-controlled automatic lighting



Climate control:

- Underfloor heating via ground source heat pump

- Individual temperature control per room

- Window automation:

- Electric curtains for privacy

- Automated sun blinds



Smart household appliances:

- Integration of coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, dryer and washing machine

- Play notifications from devices via the audio system

Solution

To meet these extensive requirements, we implemented an advanced solution with two strategically placed control cabinets: one in the basement and one in the laundry room on the second mezzanine. Each cabinet is equipped with a Miniserver that acts as a client gateway for optimum connectivity and control.

- Tree spotlights for atmospheric lighting

- Touch Surface, Touch Pure and Touch Tree control panels

- Touch Nightlight for night-time orientation

- NFC Code Touch for secure access

- Audio and comfort:

- Inceiling speakers for high-quality audio

- Built-in presence sensors for automation

- Climate and energy:

- Ventilation system integration via Modbus TCP

- Wallbox Tree for electric charging

- Vaillant heat pump connected via EEBus

- Smart appliances:

- Home appliance integration via Home Connect

- Miele Connect for smart appliance control
