At Lugeck, one thing was paramount: safety and clear procedures for day-to-day restaurant operations. Umbrellas, the emergency exit door, and the elevator had to be managed in such a way that the team could react quickly in daily situations and the operator maintained an overview at all times.

Challenge: The outdoor umbrellas had to be automatically deactivated at a fixed time to prevent risks after closing time. At the same time, manual activation had to be possible – either on-site via a key switch or flexibly via an app.

In addition, the emergency exit door had to be monitored, including a clear status indicator and an alarm in case of unauthorized opening or tampering.

The elevator may only be used by authorized personnel. Employee access is time-limited, while the CEO has access at all times.

Umbrella Control:

The umbrellas switch off automatically at a defined time as a safety feature, ensuring nothing remains active after closing time.

Activation is controlled:

- via key switch
- or via app

The status is immediately visible via LOXONE Tree Spots:
- Red: Umbrellas active
- Green: Umbrellas off
This allows you to see at a glance whether the outdoor area is authorized.

Emergency Exit Door Monitoring:

The emergency exit door is continuously monitored. If the door is opened or obstructed without authorization, the system triggers an alarm and the customer is notified.

Clear Status Logic:
- Green: Door authorized
- Red: Not authorized
- Flashing red: Alarm triggered

Elevator Access via NFC Code Touch:

Access to the elevator is implemented using an NFC code touch.

The elevator can only be used with a valid code or authorized access.

Employee access is time-limited (e.g., only during defined working hours).

The CEO has access at any time, without time restrictions.

This regulates who may use the elevator and when in a simple, quick, and transparent way.
