Challenge

The challenge of installing Loxone in this commercial property was to create an open working environment in a large hall with huge glass containers. Jobs were created in these containers, requiring long cable runs to install controls for lighting and other systems. Decentralization across multiple distributions was necessary to ensure flexibility and expandability as the company was experiencing rapid growth.



Particular attention was paid to the impressive color-changing lighting to create a pleasant working atmosphere. Access to the hall posed another challenge as many employees with different permissions needed access. The solution had to offer secure and flexible access control.



The requirements also extended to a TV studio in the hall, which had to be air-conditioned. The lighting in the studio required quick switching between different lighting scenes. In addition, it was crucial that all systems were always up to date with the latest software to ensure maximum efficiency and functionality. The user interface should be easy to use for every employee to ensure smooth use of all installed systems.

Solution

With Loxone we have found an extremely effective solution for the challenges in the commercial hall. The flexibility of the Loxone extension allowed us to easily place controllers in different distributions. The office lighting was optimized through the clever placement of dimmers in the containers, while the RGBW actuators in the false ceiling provided impressive lighting with LED strips.



Access control was perfectly implemented using the NFC code touch, which ensured security in the hall. The audio server proved to be a highlight for music playback and announcements in the TV studio. Using existing detectors and Code Touch, we were able to implement a cost-efficient alarm system.



We would like to take this opportunity to thank our client for the trust they have placed in us. We were also able to partially retrofit Loxone in his private house, which shows that the enthusiasm for Loxone solutions continues.
