We faced unique challenges during the conversion into a luxury Chinese hotpot restaurant: The concept required an ambiance that combines tradition and exclusivity, offering guests an authentic yet modern experience. All materials - from fine woods to custom-made stone and metal elements to decorative details - were specially imported from China and meticulously crafted by hand to emphasize the uniqueness of the project.

Particularly challenging was the integration of the open cooking areas with hotpot tables, which required the highest levels of technical safety, an efficient ventilation solution, and flexibly controllable lighting zones for the restaurant, private dining, and lounge. At the same time, fire protection, exhaust air routing, and security technology had to be implemented to meet the high standards without compromising the harmonious design or the luxurious atmosphere.

The solution was provided by the intelligent LOXONE system, which perfectly networks all technical components and invisibly integrates them into the high-quality design concept. A central visualization allows all lighting zones to be intuitively controlled and configured in predefined scenes – for example, for lunch service, dinner atmosphere, or exclusive private dining moments.

Safety-relevant areas such as emergency and escape route lighting, as well as parts of the fire alarm system, were also seamlessly integrated without compromising the aesthetics. Complemented by time- and presence-dependent controls, this ensures not only smooth operation but also energy-efficient use.

The LOXONE integration resulted in a solution that, despite its technical complexity, remains extremely user-friendly – functional at the highest level and at the same time stylishly integrated into the exceptional hotpot concept.
