The 5th Element - BUSQUET

Under the leadership of Frédéric Busquet, the objective was to design an exemplary architectural office, where technology complements architecture without ever constraining it.

The challenge was multifaceted:

• Unify all the building's functions within a coherent framework
• Guarantee a high level of comfort for the staff
• Integrate intelligent and measurable energy management
• Ensure ease of daily operation
• Design a scalable, sustainable, and discreet system, true to the project's architectural DNA

The building had to function as a unified whole: fluid, legible, and intelligent, without juxtaposing systems.

On the architect's direct recommendation, LOXONE was chosen. Initially unfamiliar to the client, the solution quickly emerged as the obvious functional choice.

Comprehensive Building Management

The solution deployed by Smart Home Connect, in close collaboration with Entreprise Fraisse, covers all building uses:

• DALI Lighting: automatic scenarios based on usage, occupancy, and natural light
• Airzone Ducted HVAC with Hub: zone-based control, precise and adaptive thermal comfort
• Metering & Energy Management: clear visualization, control, and optimization of consumption
• Charging Stations: intelligent management integrated into the overall energy strategy
• Exterior Shade Sails: automation based on wind, sunlight, and weather conditions
• Building Security: consistent, integrated, and non-intrusive scenarios
• Multimedia & Audio Spaces: multi-zone distribution, controlled ambiance, and ease of use

Everything is centralized in a single interface, easily understood by both the building manager and users.
