Challenge
ACS Data Systems is the leading IT service provider in the Triveneto region, now with 8 locations. The aim of this project was to bring the existing technical solutions for lighting, heating, shading, ventilation and access into a uniform system at the headquarters in Bolzano and to display this via a single visualization.
The main challenge was not to disrupt operations during the upgrade to Loxone and not to carry out any modifications to the cabling.

Solution
A mini server was placed on all 5 floors, with several air base extensions to guarantee optimal radio coverage. The existing air conditioning floor units in each office were converted in order to use Nano IO Air's to switch the speed levels based on the room temperature.
All lighting was integrated via Dali and the existing floor lamps were integrated with the Smart Socket Air's.
The Air window handles were attached to all windows in order to implement precise window monitoring, an existing part was integrated via KNX, and the shading was implemented via Nano Motor Controller.
The newest branch in Brunico has now been completely equipped with Loxone. The special feature of this is the cross-location user management of over 470 employees. Now you can use the LOXONE app to decide which branch the employee can gain access to and with what rights.
Over 400 Loxone products were used.

This project showed that LOXONE is ideal for larger buildings and that the networking of different locations provides great support in daily operations.
