Intelligent room control

The apartment in question experienced significant temperature fluctuations. Some rooms were too warm, others too cold. Targeted temperature reduction in unused rooms or during absences was not possible. The heat distribution was unregulated, leading to unnecessarily high heating costs and reduced comfort. The cause was the unregulated heating manifold. Before the upgrade, there was neither individual room control nor demand-based control. All heating circuits operated at a constant temperature.

An intelligent room control system based on a Loxone Miniserver Go was implemented. The Miniserver Go was connected to the customer's existing internet connection. Room sensors, actuators, and the control unit communicate wirelessly. This allowed for quick, clean installation without any structural modifications. The entire heating system is centrally controlled and can be adjusted on-site using the control unit or at any time via the Loxone app on a smartphone.

The customer benefits from a significant increase in comfort thanks to true individual room control. Rooms are only heated when they are actually in use. Remote control allows for flexible adjustments, even when the customer is away. The result is noticeably more stable temperatures and measurable cost savings.
