A smart home with an unlimited budget

Challenge

The 160 m² house in Wielkopolska has undergone a complete renovation, during which it was decided to make it intelligent. HOMErgy partners were given a free roam of what they installed and could let their imagination run wild by creating new, innovative solutions.

Solution

Even before we cross the door step of the house, we can see Loxone's presence. At the gate, for access control, we can see an NFC Code Touch keyboard with an Intercom.

The entrance gate will only open when the car's license plates are recognized, and innovative lighting using LED strips will guide the vehicle into the garage. The lights around the garage door will show you when it's safe to enter, and LED strips acting as parking sensors will guide you into the space with ease. Thanks to the built-in heating of the pavement and driveway, residents do not have to worry about snowfall in winter.

In the garden, each group of plants is programmed with a separate watering mode, which is linked to the weather station, so that they are automatically watered when required. The lawn always looks great, thanks to the robotic lawnmower that residents can control from the Loxone app. All of the data from the pool, e.g. temperature, is also available in the Loxone app. An external TV has been installed on the terrace, which can be hidden behind a blind when it is not needed. Thanks to the quality speakers located throughout the garden, everyone knows what is happening in the film.

Thanks to window and door contact sensors, as well as presence sensors, the house always knows when it can let in daylight and when shading is advisable. When someone from the household enters the bathroom in the evening, pleasant lighting is automatically turned on and the blinds are lowered, providing peace of mind while showering.

The climate of the entire building is controlled by Loxone. Meaning a comfortable temperature, adequate humidity and fresh air is always provided and maintained. The recuperator works with heat recovery to support this continued comfort.

On the roof of this flat house there are photovoltaic panels that work together with a Fronius inverter. This provides additional, free energy, and in the event of an unexpected power outage, the power supply is taken over by a generator hidden in the garden.

I would like to thank the owners of this beautiful house for putting so much trust in us and allowing us to realize the things that are happening here. I hope that we will be able to show you our next projects soon.
