Smart Palm House

We have recently completed another smart home project, which includes a special room - the Palm House. In addition to standard functions, we have introduced unique solutions that make this house not only intelligent, but also adapted to the needs of plants. The palm house containing exotic varieties of plants from all over the world has become an oasis of greenery at home. The client wanted to adjust the atmospheric conditions such as temperature, humidity and other parameters to the demanding specimens that the client often rents for exhibitions at the Palm House, among others, in Łódź or Poznań.

Loxone, which manages the Palm House, allows for precise control of climatic conditions. Depending on the needs of the plants, we can adjust the temperature, humidity and other parameters, which allows us to create an optimal growth environment. Additionally, Loxone monitors the weather and automatically opens the windows of the palm house when the weather conditions are favorable for the plants.



Controlling the sprinkling of plants is another innovative function of this Palm House. The system takes into account both the needs of plants and current weather conditions, adjusting the amount of water supplied to the plants. Thanks to this, the plants are always watered according to their needs.



Special lamps for plants also found their place in this project. The intelligent system controls the illumination of plants depending on the time of day and light conditions, which helps maintain optimal conditions for photosynthesis and plant growth.



The last element worth emphasizing are the window blinds in the palm house. The system monitors their condition, closing them when there is too much light or when the temperature rises too high. This not only protects plants from excessive sunlight, but also helps maintain comfortable conditions in the room.



Our smart home project for a family includes not only convenient control of basic functions, but also advanced solutions tailored to the needs of plants in the Palm House. It is a combination of innovative technologies and a sustainable approach to life that makes this house not only intelligent, but also environmentally friendly.
