However, thanks to the cooperation between Loxone Partner Ewerkz and the customer, the Loxone technology was convincing and so now the building as well as the occupants benefit from the smart home and building automation with Loxone."

string(1445) "Lighting, shading, heating, air conditioning, access to the house as well as the pool are intelligently controlled with Loxone.

The right lighting highlights the unique architecture of this home. LED strips, for example, create additional indirect light. Further lighting scenes can be easily added at any time via the Loxone App. This creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion and the lighting provides a unique experience.

The windows feature automatic shading, which provides privacy and maximum energy efficiency in addition to sun protection. The shading is based on the position of the sun and therefore prevents the rooms from overheating in summer. In winter, on the other hand, the natural heat is used for heating.

The central air conditioning system was integrated into Loxone via Modbus. The room climate sensor measures temperature, humidity and CO2, passes this information to the Miniserver and the system reacts accordingly.

Security in the building is provided on the one hand by smoke detectors and window and door contacts. In addition, a Texecom alarm system was integrated into Loxone. This went very easily and without problems thanks to the interface openness of Loxone.

Another highlight of this house is the outdoor pool. Loxone can take care of the water temperature, the pool maintenance and much more, reducing the effort to a minimum." Challenge

This project in Kyalami, South Africa, is a new building. The customer previously had bad experiences with another smart home concept. However, thanks to the cooperation between Loxone Partner Ewerkz and the customer, the Loxone technology was convincing and so now the building as well as the occupants benefit from the smart home and building automation with Loxone.

Solution

Lighting, shading, heating, air conditioning, access to the house as well as the pool are intelligently controlled with Loxone.

Loxone can take care of the water temperature, the pool maintenance and much more, reducing the effort to a minimum.

We have been using Loxone since 2014, we love the open architecture.
