Challenge

The rooftop pool at Gruenbeck is to be fully integrated into the building automation system. This includes the operation and monitoring of lighting, covers and other functions, including weather protection. In addition, the reception desk wants simple operation via an app. Control of lighting, covers, etc.

Solution

An additional Miniserver acts as a client/gateway for connecting the pool via Modbus RS485. The pool lighting is controlled via DMX. All pool technology – from chemical and pump status to the cover – is monitored. A clear visualisation system enables the reception desk to operate the system easily and respond quickly to malfunctions.

Only Loxone can do this: Compact Modbus/DMX/DALI connections. Proper visualization of reception and the bosses' mobile phones.
