Holiday apartments in the Tauber Valley

The challenge in renovating the Abendschein Hof was to create keyless access to the holiday apartments that would enable smart user and access management. It was important that access rights could also be managed remotely, as the owner is not on site. At the same time, the system had to be seamlessly integrated into the booking process to guarantee guests smooth and secure access upon their arrival. Laying additional cables should be avoided.

For keyless access, the Loxone system with its comprehensive user management tool was implemented in combination with NFC Code Touch devices in the AIR (radio) version. Existing doors with motor locks could be integrated directly into the system.



Inside, the units could be separated using retrofitted door locks from Nuki. These can also be integrated into the Loxone system to ensure central control and management.



To further secure the building, the system was expanded to include Presence Sensors, which not only provides comfort but also an increased level of security.



In a next step, presence-dependent temperature control of the holiday apartments will be implemented in order to further optimize energy consumption and offer guests an even more comfortable experience.
