External boiler room with heat pump

External boiler room with heat pump

Challenge

The client presented a proposed solution for converting the heating supply of a commercial property, with the main objective being to gradually move away from conventional gas heating. At the heart of this project was not only the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions and leave a more sustainable footprint, but also the modernization of the existing infrastructure. In particular, the customer required a generational change to the already outdated measurement and control system in order to ensure more efficient and future-proof control of the building technology. In addition, the integration of modern technologies was to be driven forward, including the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles and the construction of a photovoltaic power plant to ensure a sustainable and cost-efficient energy supply.

Solution

The heating and cooling sources are controlled in an external boiler room located in a container outside the building. Heating circuits, ventilation units and end elements for cooling, ventilation and heating are also controlled. Further miniserver control the PV source and the dynamic control of the DC and AC charging with a total output of 300 kW.

We were looking for a system that would fully satisfy all requirements, thanks to the possibilities that Loxone offers, especially the possibility of integrating third-party systems and the simple expansion of the system in the event of new client requirements
