ETN Studios required an intelligent control solution as part of the alteration of its office and podcast production facilities.
The objective was to provide centralised control of the lighting, audio and air-conditioning systems throughout the space, while ensuring that the technology complemented the day-to-day operation of a professional recording environment.
For IM Electrical, this meant going beyond conventional building automation. The LOXONE system needed to understand when the studio was being used for production and automatically adapt the surrounding environment accordingly.

The brief was to provide centralised control of lighting, audio and air conditioning throughout the space, while integrating seamlessly with the specialist podcast production system.
Using LOXONE as the central platform, the system needed to remain simple and intuitive during everyday office use while automatically adapting the environment when the studio went live.
During recording sessions, the production system would trigger LOXONE to activate a dedicated Recording Mode, automatically adjusting the relevant lighting, audio and environmental controls to create the required studio conditions without intervention from the production team.
The result would be a building-control system designed around the way ETN Studios actually operates - bringing multiple technologies together while allowing the production team to focus on creating content.
