Challenge
It is planned to retrofit three wallboxes into an insurance company's existing system, consisting of two PV systems with storage. The goal is optimized collaboration between these components. The grid consumption should be limited to a maximum of 11 kW and ideally come exclusively from the PV system. In addition, the aim is to enable single-phase charging, although this would involve a certain amount of additional effort with the KEBA wallboxes.
Solution
Loxone successfully integrated not only a Fronius and E3DC inverter, but also an E3DC storage system. This combination enables the smooth programming of an energy management system for the Keba wallboxes. If the PV surplus is below 4.2 kW, a short charging interruption is automatically activated, which deactivates the charging processes on phases 2 and 3 of the respective wallbox. The load manager always monitors the house connection and switches off loads if necessary.
We chose Loxone because it offers the flexibility and reliability this demanding energy management project requires. With Loxone we can seamlessly integrate the various components and implement efficient energy management that meets our high requirements.
