Challenge
This house was built in 1963 and should now be completely renovated. Since the use of cable was not possible everywhere, radio technology had to be used. Thanks to the flexibility of the Loxone Air technology, this was a truly intelligent solution.
Solution
With Loxone Air technology, everything was covered in the end. Gradually, trades such as the Froling boiler or a Leaf Air fan were integrated into the Loxone system. This means that ventilation according to presence and demand is no longer a problem.
Interior and exterior lighting was also realized with Loxone. Different lighting moods have been set and, if necessary, can light up the garden at night in a party atmosphere. You can also easily switch between the different light scenes indoors, creating the perfect mood for any atmosphere. Additional light scenes can easily be added using the Loxone app.
The chicken coop was also completely integrated into the Loxone system. The roller shutters and the chicken flap are closed at sunset. In the morning, at 5:30 a.m., the lighting turns on. An hour after sunrise, the chicken flap opens automatically and the chickens can leave the coop. The temperature in the stable is also monitored with Loxone so that frost does not get the upper hand. A constant laying performance of the hens could be determined - without automation this would definitely not be the case. Another big advantage is that you don't have to worry about closing the chicken flap in the evening. In order to be able to make sure at all times that the chickens are doing well, two cameras were also integrated.
