Automated architect villa

Our client wanted to be able to remotely manage his RTS roller shutters from Somfy and his ducted air conditioning. The challenge of this installation was the perfect communication between the shutters and the Miniserver without affecting the interior aesthetics of the house.

Another challenge was to install lighting for the garden and the terrace to highlight it, as well as waterproof outdoor sockets.

We chose the Loxone for its compatibility with the other elements that our client wanted to incorporate into their house. Thanks to the relay extension, we were able to connect the Somfy modules with the Miniserver. A modbus extension allowed us to connect the ducted air conditioning gateway. Coupled with air quality sensors and automatic shading, we were able to program temperature management room by room. No more trips back to a cold house!



For the exterior, we were able to accentuate the stone terrace and the bicentenary olive trees with warm white spotlights. We have also set up, with a few small additional programs, bulbs and RGB strips from a major brand so no regular cables would distort the exterior of this villa. To control everything, we implemented waterproof push buttons. We also integrated a stainless steel grip block into the stone. All can be controlled by an attached Loxone panel.



In the weeks to come, we will expand this smart home with the installation of automatic watering, the management of its swimming pool and we will install an iPad in the living room to be able to control the system.
