Challenge

This DHL postal distribution point in Altenstadt, Germany, was equipped with Loxone intelligent building automation by Loxone partner ESZI Elektro & IT GmbH.

Solution

Loxone Partner ESZI Elektro & IT GmbH took over the complete planning, installation and visualisation of the Loxone building management system in this building. In addition to the efficient control of lighting and heating, the focus was on minimising energy consumption and therefore reducing operating costs. At the same time, a higher level of comfort for the employees was also important.



The Presence Sensors play a crucial role in this project. Thanks to reliable detection of presence and movement, they form the basis for automated control of important functions such as lighting or heating. For example, the lighting only switches on in areas where someone is actually present, which contributes to further energy savings.
