Coworking space in Castelldefels

This coworking space in Barcelona is used by many people coming and going throughout the day. It was necessary to implement the intelligent control of various building management elements for better energy efficiency. In this case, controlling all of the air conditioning units to guarantee optimal temperature levels was a big focus.

The scope included implementing intelligent lighting controls that can manage up to 160 DALI lights.

Another very important aspect to control was the air renewal ventilation system and the humidity levels.

Finally managing access control inside the office was crucial too.

In this case, Touch Pure Flex switches were installed in each office and coworking space to help with individually controlling each of the zones (this includes control of temperature, fan coil speed and lighting).



The lighting is integrated with the Presence Sensors installed in all common areas, meeting rooms and in each office individually.

The DALI lights are grouped by areas and the system regulates them according to the current LUX levels, which guarantees both efficient lighting and greater energy savings.



Air renewal ventilation in all areas is controlled by the Room Comfort Sensors installed in common spaces. The humidifiers are also optimised to always provide the correct humidity levels.



An NFC Code Touch was installed for intuitive access control.
