Challenge
EVALDOM is a non-profit organization (governed by the French law of 1901) based in Reyrieux, Ain, specializing in in-home social assessments. At the request of pension funds, EVALDOM works primarily with vulnerable retirees to assess their needs, living environment, home adaptations, and solutions that promote independent living at home.
EVALDOM wanted to equip its new premises with a scalable access control system for all its employees.

Solution
The Loxone access control solution manages access to premises via an NFC badge and/or a personal code. All activity is logged in an access control log. The entrance door can be opened using the NFC reader, a push button, or remotely via the app.
Users can be created directly from the app, with access rights assigned by group. Temporary or time-limited access can also be defined.
The NFC reader also includes a doorbell button for visitors and automatic backlighting to improve visibility in low-light conditions.
