Control of a solar thermal installation thanks to Loxone

The different and innovative capacities that we can offer to this type of installations and the logical flexibility of operation, allow us to adapt the operation of the installation to the needs that are defined.



Note that we will focus on the control of this community solar installation, but to everything that we will comment on we can add the control capacity of boiler rooms, a combination of different energy sources, geothermal, biomass, gas, diesel, aerothermal... and of course, the control and optimization of consumption through photovoltaic solar installations.

The control of the generated energy has also been carried out in a very economical way, instead of installing a conventional calorimeter with its due cost, a very simple flowmeter has been installed, thanks to the calculation power of Loxone, which gives us an output pulse connected to a Loxone digital input. Thanks to the temperature probes that we already have for carrying out temperature control and a simple algorithm implemented in the Miniserver, we can display and store the energy status of the installation.
