City Hotel Tallero

Working alongside the Tallero city hotel in Brixen, Italy, the RAM EeFM GmbH team faced the challenge of modernising its heating system to save energy and increase the overall comfort for guests. History and hospitality for over 350 years - that's what the Tallero hotel stands for. However, due to the age of the building, extensive structural changes were not possible. In addition, heating costs needed to be reduced and the indoor climate in 19 rooms over 4 floors had to be improved.

Thanks to Loxone's intelligent heating control, an efficient solution was implemented without complex structural interventions. With Loxone Air, the heating circuits in each room were controlled via actuators in the energy distributors. This enabled precise control of the room temperature and led to significant energy savings. Door and window contacts ensured that no heating energy was wasted. Room climate sensors in each room ensure that the set temperature is maintained and not exceeded or undercut. If a room is unoccupied, the setpoint is reduced to save energy. Guests now benefit from an optimal room climate and the hotel can significantly reduce its energy costs





The simple integration of Loxone Air technology meant that the historic building could be modernised without compromising its architectural charm. This innovative solution shows how modern technology can help improve comfort and energy efficiency even in existing, historic buildings.
