Casa Pireca

Casa Pireca is a modern holiday home in the Swiss Alps designed to combine the highest level of living comfort with energy-efficient and intuitive smart home technology. The clients wanted a solution that seamlessly connects various systems such as lighting, heating, ventilation, and access control. It was important that the automation work discreetly yet effectively – without unnecessarily complicating everyday life.

The heart of the smart home is the Miniserver Compact, which intelligently links and automatically controls all important functions.



Thanks to the DALI Extension and the Dimmer Extension, various lighting moods can be controlled with just a tap via the Touch Pure Tree, or even fully automatically depending on the time of day and presence.



For maximum heating comfort, an electric auxiliary heater was installed in the bathrooms alongside the traditional underfloor heating. This is intuitively controlled via the Touch Pure Flex and regulated using 1-Wire sleeve sensors. This keeps the floors pleasantly warm – exactly when needed.



The NFC Code Touch Tree provides greater flexibility when accessing the building. The caretaker or cleaning assistant can enter the building easily and securely without the need for physical keys or a deposit box.



Since Casa Pireca is a vacation home and not permanently occupied, security and energy efficiency were a particular focus. With just the touch of a button, a special mode is activated when leaving the house. This switches off electrical appliances, automatically reduces the heating, and transforms the entire Loxone system into an alarm system. This ensures that the house remains both energy-efficient and optimally protected when unoccupied.



Thanks to Remote Connect, owners can use the Loxone app to check the status of their home, adjust temperatures, manage access, or receive notifications about security-related events anytime and from anywhere. This not only offers additional convenience but also provides the peace of mind of always having the house under control – no matter where they are.



Casa Pireca is now a fully automated smart home that intuitively adapts to the needs of its residents. Thanks to intelligent Loxone technology, energy is used efficiently while simultaneously maximizing living comfort.
