Design Home Entertainment faced the challenge of dealing with a 130-year-old outdated technology in the Care Free Homes located in St. George, Utah. The complex and confusing system made it difficult to navigate and understand the functionality of switches and controls.

Solution

Loxone's building automation solutions provided a seamless solution to the challenges faced for Care Free Homes. Loxone's programmable lights eliminate the need for the multitude of manual light switches. Lights automatically illuminate the home upon entry, tailored to individual preferences. Loxone's automation brings convenience to the kitchen, with lights and under-cabinet lighting activating upon entry and customizable settings to create a personalized ambiance. The introduction of the Loxone Touch, a five-touch switch, simplifies control over window treatments, sound systems, and lighting. It provides intuitive control options and eliminated confusion. Loxone's user-friendly app allows remote control and access to the smart home from anywhere, offering convenience and flexibility to homeowners. Care Free Homes were pre-wired, allowing homeowners to expand and customize their automation systems according to their preferences in the future.
