Can Mascort Eco Hotel

In carrying out this project, the BÍO hotel concept that the property sought to achieve was very important. Very sensitive to the creation of a space that guaranteed perfect rest, they chose to renovate this building built in the 17th century, preserving the original character, but providing many of the functionalities that are applied today in passive houses. Control of air quality, the perfect comfort temperature in all spaces, lighting in common areas that follows the circadian cycle... All of these were ideas that the property was clear about wanting to contribute to this project. But in addition, controlling the consumption of the entire hotel goes hand in hand with comfort to reduce as much as possible not only the cost, but also the environmental footprint.



A hotel in a seasonal tourism site also brings other challenges such as, for example, the different scenarios that can be experienced depending on the season. From high occupancy during the high season, to holiday periods in which every consumer has to stop. All of this is managed from the palm of your hand in the owners' phone on the Loxone App, and also from the PC located in the hotel office. It is possible to see if there is no presence in a room to coordinate cleaning services, know the temperature and quality of the caldarium water, see the different air conditioning systems how they are working... And all this in the same App.

A Loxone Miniserver controls each of the three floors of this hotel and communicates with the rooms via Loxone Link. In each room, a Dimmer Extension has allowed the buttons and lighting circuits to be connected, allowing the regulation of the light circuits. In each room we also find several Presence Sensors that monitor whether there is movement or sound in the room, a Comfort Sensor for climate control, and a Nano 2 Relay for turning on the headboard lights. The climate in the rooms is divided. On the one hand, a radiant wall maintains an ECO temperature during room reservations. On the other hand, the customer can adjust the comfort temperature to their liking using a fan coil. Both systems are monitored from the App. CO2 is also controlled through forced ventilation in each room through the Comfort Sensor.



The passageways or common areas also have lighting according to presence and, thanks to the new Loxone "White tunable" LED strips, they follow the circadian cycle. All the lighting in these areas can be controlled from the App to define schedules and operating modes.



The technical room has total monitoring of all elements. Hydro-kits, ACS, dehumidifiers, air renewal, pool climate. It is possible to see the values of all the elements and generate operating statistics that allow consumption to be optimized.



In the caldarium, through ModBus RTU communication it is possible to know the temperature of the water and control its air conditioning, change the colour of the pool lighting, know the status of the Ph and Redox, the humidity of the air, etc... Which allows the ability to create the perfect atmosphere in a special area.



Guests can access the hotel at any time using the NFC Code Touch keypads and, in case of any problems, communicate via the Loxone Intercom located at the entrance.



In this project, due to the BÍO philosophy, all types of frequency transmissions have been avoided, so all component installation is carried out through Link or Tree.
